Join Clara Barton National Historic Site as we celebrate Women's History Month with a special program! On Saturday, March 21, 2026 Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts are invited to come attend the Girl Scout First Aid event where scouts can complete a series of fun activities to fulfill requirements for their first aid badge. Learn about the history of first aid and the important role Clara Barton had in making common first aid training and materials available for everyone. Through stories of service, sacrifice, and humanitarian leadership, this special program in collaboration with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) highlights Clara Barton’s enduring impact and the DAR’s commitment and work to preserving the memory of all America’s patriots.
Visitors will explore how these histories continue to inspire civic duty, compassion, and national pride today.
