isolated road closures expected.

Nightly closure of 23rd Street from Independence Ave. to Lincoln Memorial Information
23rd Street SW will be closed to all vehicles between Independence Avenue and the Lincoln Memorial nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for emergency Pepco gas line repairs. The work will begin on Tuesday, March 24 and is expected to take approximately four weeks. For additional information, please contact Pepco at 202-872-2680.

Lincoln Memorial elevator out of service - night of April 7-8 Information
The elevator at the Lincoln Memorial, which takes visitors from the ground level to the chamber, will be out of service for maintenance from 11 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7 until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8. We apologize for any inconvenience.
