📘 Park Overview

🚗 Directions

From Interstate 95 North, take Exit 38 - State Offices. Stay to the right. At end of exit, go straight. At next light, make a left onto Smith St. At light, make a right and then a quick left into the memorial's parking lot. From Interstate 95 South, take Exit 38 - Charles Street. Make a right onto Charles St. and take first left onto Ashburton Street. Continue straight through three lights. After the third light, take a quick left into the memorial parking lot.

Early Closure Due to Inclement Weather Danger
The Roger Williams National Memorial Visitor Center will be closing today, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM due to the weather. The Visitor Center will reopen on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 10 AM for normal operating hours.

Calling all Pawtriots! B.A.R.K./P.U.U.R.K Ranger Meetup and Guided Tour

Enjoy a day with your B.A.R.K. or P.U.R.R.K. Ranger! 

B.A.R.K. AND P.U.R.R.K. RANGER MEETUP

10:00 AM at the Hahn Memorial 

Become a B.A.R.K. or P.U.R.R.K. Ranger with your well-behaved dog or cat! Meet up with a park ranger at Roger Williams National Memorial (282 N. Main St., Providence, RI) to learn about the program and to earn a free collar charm. Pets must be secured on leashes at all times (non-retractable, less than 6'). 

GUIDED TOUR: WALKING PATRIOT'S PATHS

10:30 AM at the Roger Williams National Memorial Visitor Center 

Following the meetup, explore the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail on a ranger-led walk. This program will include walking on uneven terrain. Bring water and dress for the weather. Pets must be secured on leashes at all times.

Outdoor Yoga

We are bringing back our popular Outdoor Yoga series! Join a yoga teacher from Jala Yoga Studio, for a free Saturday morning yoga class. Basic knowledge is helpful but not required for this gentle, flow -- low-impact class of movement, postures, breathing and mediation.

Location: There will be signs in the park directing folks to the location. Parking in the National Memorial's Canal Street lot is free for participants.
